KAPPA, ormai l’avete capito, è il ns Van!
Perché KAPPA? Intanto partiamo dal presupposto che ho la malsana tendenza a dare a tutto quello che possiedo e che riveste una certa importanza per me un nome (tanto per capirci la mia auto si chiama Berta e le mie macchine fotografiche Katusha e Svetlana…), quindi anche al furgone sarebbe toccato un nome.
KAPPA, poi, che per noi che prima di decidere di buttarci in questa cosa ne abbiamo parlato e riparlato allo sfinimento, è diventata un’entità, quasi una persona…
Digiuna in materia, infine, scopro che è piuttosto diffuso dare un nome al proprio camper, così come si fa per le barche. Mi sembra legittimo che un mezzo che ti accompagna letteralmente in giro per il mondo abbia almeno un nome!
E perché KAPPA con tutti i nomi che potevamo concepire? Ragionamento corretto….ma i nomi, si sa, spesso nascono così e poi diventano loro, e dopo non si possono più cambiare. Cambiereste nome a vostro figlio dopo qualche mese dalla nascita solo perché forse un altro era più bello ma non ci avevate pensato prima? Non credo…
Per noi KAPPA è nato dall'iniziale del marchio (che voi che siete esperti potete già immaginare…) del primo Van che abbiamo preso in considerazione. KAPPA era il diminutivo per appellare quello che ormai era diventato l’oggetto principale del nostro fantasticare… e KAPPA è rimasto!

Why KAPPA? We have to start from the assumption that I have the unhealthy tendency to give to everything I own and that I love a name (just to understand, my car is called Berta and my cameras are Katusha and Svetlana ...), so also to the van must have a name.
KAPPA, for us that before decided to start this adventure talked about it to exhaustion, it became an entity, almost a person...
Finally I find that it is quite common to give a name to own camper, as you do for the boats. I think is legitimate that a vehicle that accompanies you around the world has at least a name!
And why KAPPA with all the names we could thougth? Names, as we know, often born in a way and become them, and then they canno’t be changed anymore. Would you change your son's name after a few months from birth just because maybe another was more beautiful but you had not thought about it before? I don’t believe…
For us KAPPA was born from the initial of a brand (which you who are experts can already imagine ...) of the first Van we have considered. KAPPA was the diminutive to appeal what had become the main object of our daydream ... and KAPPA remained!
